Judith “Judy” Miller Vaughan, age 75, of Halifax, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Aryman Gerald Miller, Sr. and Mary Foster Miller.

Judy was a member of Weldon Baptist Church for over 55 years and was active in all areas of the church.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Otis “Nat” Nathaniel Vaughan; her daughters, Donna V. Brennan of Elm City and Traci V. Storey and her husband, Tra of Jackson; her son, Michael Vaughan and his wife, Stephanie of Courtland, VA; her brother, Jerry Miller of Roanoke Rapids; 4 grandchildren, Franklin Brennan, Jr., Amanda Brennan, Eric Vaughan, and Grace Storey; and her aunt, Dora Foster Gibbs of Holly Springs.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Weldon Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Thomason officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Weldon.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services.
